The Technics SP-10 MKII, released in Japan in 1975, is a classic “Golden Era” turntable with a stellar reputation for quality. With its quartz-locked speed control, this turntable made its way into many professional settings, such as studios and broadcasting rooms, which demanded the highest possible quality of turntable. It features a neon tube stroboscope for speed feedback. A crystal oscillator is used for phase control, and rotation speed deviation is ± 0.002%, so the cumulative error after playing a record for 30 minutes is ± 0.036 seconds, which exceeds the human detection limit. This turntable is in Excellent condition, with some signs of age and use, including some minor scratches and scuffs which are not noticeable (see pictures). Plater screw is not original. It has been tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation. All settings work perfectly, and the platter rotation is stable. This sale comes with power unit and extra start-stop button (Please see pictures).
