A very rare bass straight from the 70's Pre Lawsuit Era of Ibanez, all components are original except the tone knob, the only part missing Is the bridge cover, also the bridge pickup needs service, It doesnt work and where i live there Is not a proper expert, all the other things are working properly, recently had a service.
Based on some Ibanez experts, we think the Firebird and thunderbird was made in the FujiGen Gakki plant somewhere between 1970-1972. We think this, because
- FujiGen Gakki created all of the replicas (blunt copies of USA guitars) for a lot of brands... such as Ibanez, Antoria, Burny and Greco. Telltale signs are the inlay logo (not the earlier, metal nail-on logo).
This is pre Gibson lawsuit era AND It seems very few made in this body style. Unlike the Gibson's it is copied from it is a short scale  bass (30" scale). The damages appears un the pictures. It is structurally sound and is a historically important instrument for the Ibanez collector. It plays  and sounds very nice the neck and fretboard are clean.
Thanks to the ibanez collectors who send me information about this bass AND the Firebird guitar version i sold a month ago. I'll be happy to answer Any question
