At around the end of 1991, the model designations of Lowden guitars changed. The new mid size Flat-picker’s body shape/size got the designation 'F'. This F12 from 2000 is exceptionally clean and in near mint condition!
The F size sits between the 'O' jumbo size and the small bodied 'S'. It has the perfect mix of comfortable playability and a substantial, full sound. Moreover, Lowden guitars seem to have a uniquely rich and clear tone, and this F12 confirms that. The body consists of mahogany back and sides with a solid spruce top. Adorned with wooden appointments it is a very fine example of Lowden's craftsmanship and style.
For a guitar of over 20 years old, this one is absolutely clean and in great playing condition! Comes in the original case with TFOA passport.
