Yamaha BB2024MX in gloss black with chrome hardware, somewhat reminiscent of Phil Lynott's mirror scratchplated Precision bass.
This bass unusually has a maple neck, and is one of only a handful that were made by the custom shop in Japan for artists including Glenn Hughes.
Construction is of the highest quality, it is a luthier made instrument, and made using their own-grown optimum quality woods. These basses are finished with a process Yamaha use on their pianos and clarinets, A.R.E., that matures new woods giving them a seasoned feel and tone.
It is an excellent bass that sounds amazing.
Formerly owned by Jonathan Noyce (Jethro Tull, Gary Moore, etc).
Case included.
