**Since we offer our blocks with the Spring Retainer Cover, the actual height of your block is not exactly as stated in the listing. Since the cover is 3mm thick, we split the difference - meaning that a 37mm block would actually be about 35.5mm tall with the 3mm cover beyond that - for a total of 38.5mm height. If you stick with the selection of height that you had OEM in your guitar, you should have no issue. We have been making these for over a decade and have never run into any fit issues using our system. Try it out - you will never look back!

The KGC 5/8" block is designed to fit any standard Floyd Rose cavity. There is no concern with any issue as far as fit or function - it will not impede your range or interfere with use of the tremolo/vibrato on most every Floyd setup.  This block incorporates KGC's proprietary design that places the block's mounting holes in an offset position, thus leaving all the "meat" of the block on the side of the cavity opposite the springs - where there is lots more space.  This allows for plenty of space on both sides of the block to allow for full range on your tremolo - with the most mass you can possibly get of any block on the market that still allows you to actually use the whammy for divebombing all the way to slack strings. 

. FWIW - what the other guys are calling "big blocks" are usually only 3/8" thick! This is 5/8" and we also offer our 1/2" block for those who don't want the larger block and may want a little more space in the cavity.
