Rare vintage Fender Jagstang – designed by Kurt Cobain, made in Japan and highly collectible.
In terms of condition, the guitar displays various knocks, dings etc (see pics). It suits the character of the guitar, and Kurt would definitely have approved! There are a few lines in the lacquer which help to give it that aged vibe and there is some fretwear – but nothing which effects the playability of the guitar. It has a fresh set of strings and is ready to rock!
The spec includes a Basswood body with 24” scale length, comfortable maple neck with 7.25”-radius, rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, floating bridge, Mustang-style tailpiece and vintage style tuners. This one celebrates 50 years of Fender with the emblem on the reverse of the headstock.
Tone-wise you get a vintage-style single-coil at the neck and a special-design humbucker at the bridge, plus an on/off in-phase/out-of-phase slider switch for each pickup, two control knobs (master volume, master tone).
