Mapex M-series Birch - Unique custom rebuild

Beautiful one of a kind custom Mapex M-series kit. 10/12/16 inch toms, 14 inch snare, 22 inch bass drum. Birch shells with an outer layer of maple. Kit is completely refurbished and restored with turquoise wood stain and white lugs. These kits sound amazing and in my opinion sound superior to anything else in this price range. Would make an excellent first drum kit that will potentially last your whole career or would be a really nice option for someone looking to upgrade from a starter kit to something more professional that will sound amazing on stage or in the studio.
List of work carried out: -All hardware taken apart and checked for functionality, oiled where necessary, missing/broken parts replaced, then reassembled. -Old paintwork and lacquer (which was incredibly bashed up) removed, and shells restrained with a nice water based stain. 2 coats of gloss lacquer added which should be strong and durable. -Bass drum hoops sanded down to bare wood and varnished. -All lugs primed, repainted in matt white, and  given 2 coats of strong sealing lacquer. -New rubber feet added to floor tom legs and bass drum spurs. -New holes added to bass drum resonant skin, white hole protector rings added.
Hardware included: -2x Mapex stands (1x straight, 1x boom), probably the stands that originally came with the kit, both very good stands and in great condition. Straight stand comes with a bracket to attach additional tom/hardware mounts, boom stand comes with a newer replacement boom arm. (These stands sell for £30-60 each second hand) -Vintage pearl hi hat stand. It’s an older model but works perfectly and is ultra sturdy and has a smooth action. (Probably worth £20-30) -Yamaha belt-drive bass pedal. Quite basic but feels really nice for a cheaper pedal. (Probably worth £15-£25).
Also thrown in; a set of cymbals. A bit broken and beaten up but perfectly serviceable as a practice set: -Zildjian ZBT hi-hats, discoloured but otherwise in good condition. Good basic hats. -Zildjian Z crash and a zxt limited edition platinum ride. Both a bit broken but good enough for practice. ****Will knock off £20 if you don’t want/need the cymbals****
Flaws/faults: —There was some pre-existing damage on the small tom and the stain looks a bit different on this spot to the rest of the kit. It’s in a place where it won’t be seen once the kit is set up. —There are a couple of other spots where the stain has gone on a bit darker due to some very small pre-existing spots of damage to the shells. Not particularly noticeable. —Heads could probably use an upgrade to get the most from the kit.
