Travis Bean Designs TB500 aka JG500 was based on Jerry Garcia's TB-500 used in the mid to late 70's while performing live and used during the recordings of the Terrapin Station album. This guitar part of the limited edition run of 14 and are no longer being made. Designed in partnership with Marc McElwee, the former VP of Travis Bean, this guitar features the exact same specifications and materials as Jerry Garcia's TB 500. This guitar has a dark rosewood neck and was made with a lighter mahogany wood for the body. Well balanced guitar that sounds and plays perfect. Three custom wound pickups with 3 toggles and 2 tone control knobs allows for a wide range of tones.

T6061-T6 aluminium neck, brass nut, Schaller tuners and an OBEL jack. It also comes with a brand new set of OBEL cables as well as a new SBK flight case.
