Ok guys, here's the deal..

I've been low-balled on this one for an entire month to the point of complete absurdity. So, I'm going to make this easy. No more low-ball offers, no more what will you take, no more haggling, etc.  The price is $500.00. If you understand how cool USA Hamers are, how well & consistent the construction is, and what quality instruments they are, then you know this is fair. If not, I hope you will be happy with your MIM Strat and I wish you well.

To recap:
1) This is the price.
2) I realize everyone has different tastes in gear, so I'm throwing in a double-black SD 59/Custom hybrid pickup and 2 Dragonfire (cream) single coils (they are more stratty sounding than the very beefy sounding Dimarzios).
3) Guitar is sold as-is. I post multiple angle pictures on just about everything that gets listed in my store. I want you to see the item as I see it--no better or worse, but accurately. I enjoy questions and do my best to answer as  quickly as I can, but this has gotten to the point of silly.
4) If you are uncomfortable with the guitar being without a case, I can provide a gig bag for an extra $20.00, no problem at all.

Thank you for understanding. I hope this doesn't come across as gruff or unappreciative, but I've never seen the amount of weirdness that selling this guitar has generated.

Up for sale is a USA Hamer Centaura guitar.  If you are here, you 1) know your stuff, or 2) are a Hamer USA fanatic.
THE LIST:  Reverse headstock, Schaller Floyd Rose (stays in tune beautifully) with locking nut, Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pickup in the bridge, Dimarzio BC-2 & BC-1 hum-cancelling single coils, Schaller strap locks.

THE REAL DEAL:  The Schaller trem and Hamer tuners are original. The mini toggle switch is currently not connected to anything, but you could tap the bridge pickup if you so wanted. The back of the neck has been refinished by J.W. Van guitars and it looks great and matches the guitar well.  The frets are in very good shape and the guitar was set up last week with .10's gauge strings by a local luthier. Pickups are obviously not from the factory and the 5 way switch was replaced about a month ago.  If you notice the rather large fret dots and side marker dots--those are glow-in-the-dark stickers. :) I'm serious. My eyes kinda suck and I needed some help playing on dark stages. They can be easily removed and cleaned off or I can throw in some extras for you.

Alright, folks, I gotta be straight with you. This is a gorgeous guitar, but it is a 20+ year old gorgeous guitar.  It is NOT mint condition. It has been well cared for and played, but it is adorned with scuffs, a few minor paint chips, pick swirls, etc. Most of which DO NOT show up on camera--please believe me, I have tried!!!  Nothing gross or appalling mind you, but if you look close, you will see some age and character.  No case, but will be packed with withstand a CAT 5 hurricane.  I'd really like this one to go to a good home and to go to someone who really digs the USA Hamer craftsmanship as much as I do.

P.S>>>>> I like doing special things, so how about I throw in some extra pickups??? Seymour Duncan "Custom/59" bridge humbucker (double black) & a cream middle & neck position single coil (Drangonfires--they are pretty hot, but a bit more stratty sounding than the Dimarzios) with the purchase? ;) ;)

PSSSSSS-->>>
Some question have come up about the neck. Usually, Hamer Centauras have offset dots on the neck and Diablo Hamers have straight line dots.  Since this guitar is 20 years old and I am NOT the original purchaser, I simply don't have 100% concrete answer. However, there aren't a lot of "hard and fast" rules when it comes to all Hamer models--they were known to do some unusual things. Let me direct you to an auction of a Hamer USA Diablo of mine from 2 years ago. Note the neck and orientation of the dots. This is not the only Diablo guitar I've seen with with the Centaura configuration.  Do some searching around and you'll see some unique things with USA Hamers. Anywho, just wanted to address that.  Thanks!
