JUST ADDED TO THE BAZAAR;
1990 HAMER CHAPPARRAL HOLOFLASH WITH SUSTAINIAC
The body/neck are original and in great shape(pic with arrow shows small 'ding' on upper edge of axe), the neck was carved down a bit-fast and so easy to play.
NOTE: THE LAST THREE PICS ARE FROM THE PREVIOUS OWNER-HE DID A BETTER JOB OF PHOTOGRAPHING THE BODY/FINISH.
This guitar was all original when I bought it, but...
*the original Sustainiac was old/weak and soon needed to be replaced with a brand new Sustainiac.
*a part broke on the original Floyd during maintenance, so that was replaced by a brand new Gotoh locking tremelo-awesome unit.
*the original bridge pickup was replaced by a DiMarzio Satchur8 and the middle pickup was replaced with a Duncan Stack.
So, if you are looking for an 'all original, vintage Hamer' this is not for you.
However, if you are looking for a killer Super Strat-type guitar, this is definitely that. Sounds and plays fantastic.
