Cort CL-1000 singlecut style guitar with hard case and strap.
Note that this guitar is red on the back, but the color is a little more toward maroon-ish than these pictures. For some reason, Samsung S8 cameras make darker reds look more bright. This is between red and a gibson SG type wine color.
* 24.75" scale
* two humbuckers (mighty mite)
* not sure of year, but early 2000s generally
* mahogany neck and body (likely some type of eastern mahogany)
* coil split
* no dead notes - high side of low E and some of A is a bit muted, but that may be due to the bridge design not having much string angle - sounds fine through an amp, doesn't buzz or anything (could be a high fret? Not sure - doesn't need to be addressed if you don't choose to)
* 7lbs 15 oz
A nice arch top guitar with a quilt veneer top probably over carved plain maple (as is the case with nearly all asian guitars until you're way up in 4 digit prices)
Easy playing, pots and switches all fine. Kind of a slightly slimmer than 50s les paul type profile, but a comfortable neck that doesn't take big hands to play and isn't ibanez wizard flat on the other end, either.
I figured on going through this guitar and several others that I bought, but overbought and need to unload some for space. If you're on the fence about how straight forward my comments are, feel free to look at my feedback.
