Extremely Rare crystal mic. Beautiful looking microphone in NOS condition (New Old Stock), literally unused apart from being plugged in to test. Crystal mics tend to be quite thin, & this is too straight into a preamp - but put this through some EQ on the way in & beef up the bottom end & it sounds gorgeous, or beef it up in the box. It takes EQ really well & produces a beautiful sound on a par with way more expensive vintage mics.
Best results I’ve had were going into a DI using the connector supplied in the box.
