Carvin LB70 24-Fret Piezo Sunburst Electric Bass w/ OHSC
The LB70 is an active bass in the LB series from Carvin. It comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of alder. For the basic specs list Carvin opted to omit the top wood covers, and decided to make them available as options. This one features black hardware and an optional piezo pickup system which allows you go get closer to an upright sound in addition to the normal active electronics. In the pickups area Carin installs a pair of their own pickups. They come in H/S formation. Master volume, pickup blend knob, stacked bass, stacked mids and sweep knobs make up the controls. Neck is made of maple and it is attached to the body with a neck-through-body joint. Ebony is the material of choice for the fingerboard.
This bass is in very good overall condition. We believe it is somewhere around 20 years old and it shows just hints of play wear. It includes its original Carvin hardshell case.
