The 33115 is identical to the Neve 1073 topology wise, class-a discreet transformer balanced in and out, and has the same 3 band equalizer (HF Shelf, Mid Peak-Dip, LF Shelf) and Hi-pass filter (5 selectable frequencies), however the frequencies are slightly different, to meet the stringent requirements of the BBC, as these modules were originally from a Broadcast desk. The circuits are identical, with the exception of different resistor values in the EQ circuit to meet the BBC specs. As a result, these are the “hidden gem” 1073 that is highly coveted because it is a hand wired original from the 70s or 80s.
