Sounds great, plays easy. Sighting down the neck, the bass side is perfect, the treble side has a slight dip where neck meets body. But there are no buzzing notes in high fretted trebles. I only played the guitar with a glass slide in open tunings G and D. The strings are D'addarrio Flat Tops (phosphor bronze) Light gauge. The guitar was sold to me with only a gig bag (never used) but I'm including a guitar case as well. It's not a particularly tight fitting case but it's padded and serves the purpose well enough .
