Manufactured before Fender bought out Jackson, made in Japan, top quality on par with U.S. model Soloists.
Very hard to find these out in the wild as they are still a go-to for working musicians and recording studios worldwide. Made for 3 years, 2000 to 2002. 22 comfortable frets, 25.5" scale and the famous Jackson branded, Takeuchi JT 580 lp licensed Floyd Rose bridge.
A 20 year old classic, professional guitar, set up with Seymour Duncan pickups and the original black chainsaw HS case. Plays every bit as well as it looks!
Weighs in at 7.6 pounds. Little to no fret wear, plays beautifully up and down the neck.. no hiccups and a nice level bridge. Color is wonderful, just like all Japanese made Jacksons and Charvels at this time. A small scratch here and there, and a couple of smaller impressions. Miniscule rub in the paint on the front and backside of the pointy tip on the headstock, easily touched up if you want. Light polishing marks throughout the main body, which is normal for a black guitar and only seen at certain angles. Please use the photos above to judge the condition yourself as I am being ultra critical.
Seymour Duncans perform amazingly with a whole slew of tones achievable. TB4 Trembucker in the bridge and a JB in the neck position. An amazing combination. Both pickup rings have been replaced with metal rings, so no worries of cracks or breaks. Chrome hardware looks terrific and the Jackson branded Floyd Rose does works properly and smoothly. Original tremolo bar is included.
Will come carefully packed in it's original case. Case is good.. one missing latch. I have a replacement latch coming and will replace the missing latch soon, given time. There is epoxy around one latch in the photos, this was covering a small crack in the plastic and, I suppose, reinforcing the latch.. this has been removed. No damage or integrity issues with that latch, just a small crack on on side of the plastic. See last photo for the update.
Shipping only within the lower 48 of The U.S. Description is spot on, and shipping will be insured for the full value, so no returns on this one.
