Fender American Professional Stratocaster Translucent Blond Medium Relic

This beautiful 2018 Fender American Professional Stratocaster has been given our full relic refinish treatment. We hand relic each and every inch of our guitars down to the last screw.

When we received this guitar, we had a completely different idea in mind. However, when we saw how gorgeous the ash body was, one finish came to mind: Mary Kaye.

This Mary Kaye Blond finish was very carefully sprayed to best resemble finishes of the past. With translucent aged white showing the beautiful grain on the surface and its smooth transition to a burst on the edges, it’s sure to catch people’s eyes. We use only the highest quality nitrocellulose to finish our guitars.

We take great pride in our relic process. We use dozens of unique techniques to achieve a truly vintage look.

Each of our guitars come with a full fret job and set-up. We level the frets, crown them, round the fret ends, and roll the edge of the fretboard. We carefully set-up our guitars for optimal playability. However, everyone has different preferences regarding action. So, the guitar may need to be adjusted to your liking.
The back of this neck is something truly special. It feels like gliding your hand along silk.
