THANK YOU FOR VISITING

The guitar head stock, volute, head stock logo, finish color , body shape, truss rod cover and model font are accurate for a Norlin-era Gibson J-160E made between 1970 and 1979. It should be noted that with the arrival of Norlin c.1970 the model changed from a round shouldered advanced type body to a square shouldered dreadnought body. This iteration remained in production until 1979. Subsequent reissued models returned to the round shouldered body with changes also to the bracing (ladder to X) , top wood (solid to laminated) and alternating pickup type (P-90 to P-100 and back again).
