1970's JooDee JLP-55 Vintage Cherry Sunburst RARE Vintage Single Cut Japan Yamaki W/Case

Rare JooDee model made at Yamaki Japan factory. Excellent shape, no major scratches or dings anywhere. Pickups and have been upgraded to a Seymour Duncan 59' set, with CTS pots, high end caps and treble bleeds. Also comes with one original pickup, original pots and caps, and original knobs. 

Very high quality 70's era lawsuit single cut, made with the same high end tone woods and style as the Gibson Les Pauls at the time. Thick maple cap, pancake mahogany body, three piece maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, mother of pearl inlays, bone nut, cream binding. Orginal Gohtoh tuners and hardware. Some polish swirls and picking marks, a few impressions and dings here and there, overall very good shape considering the age.

-Straight neck
-Responsive truss with ample room for adjustment
-Level frets with minimal wear
-Low action with no fretting out
-Clean electronics
-Very comfortable neck
-Pickups sound great (see last pics for pickup readings)
-High quality original Gotoh tuners that keep the guitar in tune well

This guitar originally had fret "nibs" like a Gibson as well. It has has some fretwork done and most of the nibs have been removed but you can see where some are still slightly there. The binding overlaps the frets so it feels very smooth (like a Gibson) frets are still about 70% and plays great

Very high quality guitar, the fit and finish are top notch. Sounds and plays fantastic. Comes with a LP profile case that is in excellent condition and fits the guitar well.
