The K&K Sound Hot Spot Internal is a small, universal, entry-level pickup with a better than entry-level sound. This single-head pickup is only 1/2" in diameter and 1/32" thick, making it perfect for smaller instruments and a wide variety of applications.
The K&K Hot Spot Internal comes with double-sided adhesive film and a prewired internal mount endpin jack with a strap button. Its frequency range is close to perfectly linear and the output signal is very high for a piezo this small.
The K&K Hot Spot has enough output to drive most amplifiers directly, without the need for a preamp. If you are plugging into a PA system or mixer board you may need a preamp to increase the signal strength to match that system.
