Founded in 1978 by George Furlanetteto and a small number of elite staff based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, F-bass is a long-established brand specializing in bass.
This is a VF model aiming at a more vintage JB-like model from the flagship model BN model.
Ash is often used mainly in BN models and alder in VF models, but this machine adopts a hybrid structure using ash for the body wing and alder for the body center.
In addition to the high and tight low that comes off due to the combination of ash and maple, which can be said to be the 18th in F-bass, low mid with strong extrusion by alder is also added, it is a familiar sound among the band ensemble.
In addition to the JB pickup with a 70s layout on a 34-inch scale, it is close to the sound of the early 1970s when the alder body was adopted among the JB models, and the black block-in-ray on the fingerboard is reminiscent of the specifications of that era.
In addition to 1Tone (pull and passive) traditional control, the 2Volume is equipped with an original preamplifier of 3EQ, and it is one that can handle a wide range of sounds from aggressive sounds boosted by preamplifier to mellow sound combined with Tone control.

I feel a little sense of use, such as some marks on the body and the top of the head, but the condition on the performance is an individual that can be said to be for good players!

On the manufacturer's home country homepage, only the options of Al Darwing and Ash Center opposite to the combination of this machine are posted, and now it is one of the relatively rare specifications!
Ash, one that I want you to try by all means for those who think that F-bass of maple combination is a little too gly! If you are looking for a good 5-string JB type, please take this opportunity!
