About This Listing

Classical Guitar

Young beginners in particular, but experienced players too, will appreciate the strong performance of the CGS104. The warm, balanced sound of the guitar results from the use of high quality components. The spruce top is as essential to the quality of the guitar as the mahogany-like nato bottom and side elements. But that is not all: Yamaha, of course, has also equipped the CSG104 with a high quality rosewood fretboard and rosewood bridge.

Here is how it is described by one who purchased it.....

"This is no doubt this is an inexpensive guitar, but it was perfect for the purpose for which I purchased it: having something I didn't need to worry about carrying around while on a trip. Tone is very good, very simple, with none of the more complex harmonics more expensive guitars have, but the timbre is a good sound. It is easy to play, and arrived well set up. The tuners won't last in everyday use for a lifetime, but are adequate for this type of guitar. The rosette is printed instead of assembled. The strings on it when sold were serviceable. It is very light-weight. I would recommend it to someone who is just starting playing and not sure whether they will continue, doesn't have the money to purchase a better guitar, or just need something to practice on that they don't need to worry about damaging".

There appears to have been a neck re-set at some point (see pics).  There is not a ding or scratch on it.  Appears to have sat in a closet unused.   No case.

Buyer pays shipping (estimated to be about $60 UPS).  No international sales.
