About This Listing

I bought this bass guitar used a year ago and have to thin out my collection. In 2014, Rickenbacker made a limited edition of only 50 of these bass guitars for Guitar Center. It's essentially a Rickenbacker 4001v63 with a satin finish over a flamed maple body. Also, the neck heel is rounded for some reason, unlike the square shape on the 4001v63. The 4001v63 model was discontinued in 2002.

The bass guitar plays great and sounds awesome! I combed over the bass to identify anything you should know about. The bass does not have any fretwear that I can see. There is a tiny mark I photographed where it looks like the top of the headstock was possibly bumped by the previous owner. Included in a photo, near the bottom of the headstock there is a white spot not caused by any damage. I think it might be a finish blem but I am not sure. I can't figure out what it is. In a photo, there is a small white mark above the input jack. That might be a blemish or it might have been caused by the previous owner with a cable jack. There is a slight bridge tail lift that I have photographed. That is normal for the old-style Rickenbacker bass bridges.
