Herrnsdorf semi-acoustic guitar 60ies, East Germany

This semi-acoustic guitar was made in East Germany for the musical equipment destributor Herrnsdorf/Markneukirchen.
It's a plywood guitar in a very unusual body shape. Check out the fretboard!! It's made out of an extremly beautiful figured piece of wood. This guitar has a build in pickup under the last part of the fretboard. The pickup and the electric work fine.
Like most of the guitars made in East Germany the neck is of the detachable kind. (The original key for the screw is included). The neck needs some attention since it got a slight bow. The frets are the original ones with very little fret wear.
No cracks in the wood of the body. Finish is still in great shape. The parts (bridge, tailpiece, tremelo arm) are original. The volume and tone knobs look like they are a later addition. The pickguard is missing. So are the two last letters of the Herrnsdorf logo. A tiny spot of belt buckle wear on the back (see picture). A very unusual guitar in original condition.
