Gretsch Vintage USA Drums, Early 80s, 24" Kick, Lacquer Finish, Maple, Die-Cast Hoops - Very Nice!

Hello vintage Gretsch drum fans.

Here we have a beautiful vintage Gretsch USA-made three-piece rum kit from the early 1980s. USA production -- some of the most sought after and collectible drums ever made.

Maple shells.

With hard to find 24 round x 14 inch kick drum!

Transparent original lacquer high-gloss stain finish with woodgrain showing. Cherry colored lacquer -- I am not sure of the official color name, Gretsch USA badges on all drums, Gretsch paper tags with serial numbers on the inside of all drum shells with corresponding serial numbers.

These drums are favorites among professional and highly-skilled novice drummers -- particularly for studio/recording purposes. Harder to come by, highly collectible and appreciating in value.

This kit is finished in beautiful cherry stain high-gloss lacquer gloss stain -- stunning finish that looks amazing in natural lighting and under stage lights. The drums have been played with care, always case kept and stored in warm/dry climate controlled -- and it shows.

Non-smoking owner -- pride of ownership. Studio use only never gigged.

All drums and related hardware are in very good tp excellent original condition considering four decades of faithful service -- very presentable. External finishes are very clean with rich, vibrant, glossy color. The drums match nicely respective of finish with no differentiation in color. Some light surface scuffs and light checking in areas of the lacquer finish from routine use and age -- not very noticeable and very hard to see in photos. No missing or broken hardware. No rust on the chrome hardware -- all chrome hardware is in excellent condition. No added holes in the shells. Original silver/grey shell interior finish on all drums. All bearing edges are in excellent condition.

Upgraded heads on all drums with new Evans batter heads on the tops.

The drums deliver that warm, woody tone with projection and excellent volume ranges -- exactly you expect from high quality USA made drums from this era. All drum heads are in excellent condition.

- 24 round x 14 kick drum. Serial numbers 37821.10 lugs per side. Matching finish hoops which are both in great shape. Original legs/spurs. Original tension rods and claws. Original Gretsch double tom mounting post. Heads -- new Remo Powerstroke Fiberskyn resonate head with Gretsch logo, Evans EMad muffled batter head.

- 16 x 16 floor tom. Serial numbers 34519. 8 lugs per side. Original die-cast hoops. Original legs with memory locks and leg mounts. Heads - new Evans coated batter head and Evans clear resonate head.

- 12 round x 10 mounted tom. Serial numbers 34560. Original die-cast hoops and tom mounting ports. Original tom mounting sleeve. Tom comes with original Gretsch chrome suspension mounts. Heads -- new Evans coated batter head and Aquarian clear resonate head.
