About This Listing

Don't see these come up much anymore.  The Weber Big Sky F Style mandolin is no longer in production.  It was Weber's top of the line F Style mandolin at the time, but was eventually discontinued and replaced by the Fern model.

This Weber Big Sky features a tone bar braced cedar top paired with flamed maple carved back and sides, as well as a Maple neck.  Ebony for the head plate and bound fingerboard.

There is some light fretwear, very slight chipping on points, and light scratches as you would expect from a mandolin that has been played, but the instrument has been well maintained and as you can tell from the pictures, it shows very well.  It plays cleanly, with a brilliant yet warm, full sound.

The Weber Big Sky, like its descendant the Fern, is an excellent, top quality and professional grade mandolin, very well regarded throughout the Mandolin community.

The original hard shell case, keys and maintenance tools are included.  Features a signed interior label and will include an email from Bruce Weber detailing the instrument's origins.
