Electrosonic Nautilus 2006 Blue "Sci-Fi" Handwired 18 Watt Marshall Clone Head & Matching Cabinet.

2006 Electrosonic Nautilus boutique custom handwired amplifier head based on the coveted 18 watt Marshal design and a matching Electrocab 1x12" open back cabinet, housing a 12" Weber Silver Bell British Series speaker, both in testured blue elastomeric finish.

This futuristic "Sci-Fi" half stack head and cabinet design house a custom built-to-spec hand wired 18 watt all tube tone powerhouse that must be seen and heard to be believed.

Electrosonic was based in Boonville, Indiana and made a splash in the exploding boutique tube amplifier market but has since gone out of business and there is very little information out there about the company or the specific amplifier models.

Electrosonic started with basic amplifier designs and then would custom build each amplifier to specifications offering a menu of "à la carte" options and available modifications that could be selected for the type of amp the customer wanted to purchase.

18 watt tube amplifiers are still considered the "Holy Grail" for recording amplifiers due to the fact that you can get a wide range of clean and slightly overdriven tones and good recording volumes with plenty of headroom which gives an amazing amount of sensitivity and dynamic range to the player and can quickly be dialed up to the divine natural harmonic overdrive and natural tube compression that musicians and producers alike strive for in both performance and recording settings.

This amplifier has seen little use and became more of a piece of art on display in the music room and was always a genuine conversation piece.

Everyone who plays through this amp immediately sees why this Electrosonic Nautilus as well as so many other 18 watt clones are so sought after as there is simply something about the tone that just makes you want to play and inspires you to create as you bask in the glow of the almost perfect tube amplifier tone.

Please refer to the detailed photographs included for the best idea of the overall condition.

PLEASE NOTE - I intentionally photograph under bright lighting conditions so that it is easier to see any flaws.  There are some cracks in the finish where the wood panels have expanded and shrunk over the years but there are no structural issues nor does it affect the sound of the amplifier in any way.  Other than that there is only some dust that would keep you from thinking this amp was brand new..

Furniture style legs can be removed and will be taken off and wrapped and secured inside the speaker cabinet for shipping.

I've only seen one other Nautilus head and cab online ever and those images and website are also long gone save for some broken links.

You may never see another one of these again, let alone up for sale so don't miss your chance to own this spectacular amplifier....
