The S1 reproduces the main features inherent in the sound of the iconic Soldano amplifiers. Powerful, wide, dynamic and elastic high-gain overdrive, which became the standard of metal sound. Advantages of single-channel guitar preamps of the Legend amps series:
The sound and dynamics do not differ from similar characteristics of tube preamps: powerful, rich, juicy sound, excellent readability in all frequency ranges, a large gain margin
The response to the increase in sensitivity is identical to the tube preamps - the number of limiting stages gradually increases
The timbral formation adjustments are similar to those existing in real tube preamps
It has an internal Clean channel
The passive bypass is used
Two outputs: OUT and CAB. SIM (output for in-line operation;)
The adjustable output level (+10db) allows you to connect the LA series guitar preamps to various inputs (RETURN, DIRECT, LINE, etc.), including the INPUT POWER AMP input of the power amplifier.
The power supply is not included.
