RARE! 2000 Hamer KORINA Vanguard w/ Humbuckers w/ OHSC

Up for sale is super cool one-off custom order 2000 Hamer Korina Vanguard with humbuckers in near mint condition and perfect working order. We just gave this beauty a pro set up so it plays amazingly with low action and the original Duncan ‘59 (neck) and JB (bridge) pickups sound freakin’ killer! After playing just a few notes acoustically, it’s immediately apparent that this guitar is special and the real deal. The Korina combined with the semi-hollow design, humbucking pickups and impeccable craftsmanship make this a truly unique Hamer Vanguard.

Cosmetically, this instrument is insanely clean and has been well taken care of over the years. It simply hasn’t been played. There’s zero fret wear and only the smallest hint of play wear. There’s maybe some swirl marks and light scratches in the clear coat from handling. See pics for condition.

This was a special/custom order by a customer of Flynn Guitars (Evanston Illinois) in 2000. To the best of our knowledge, this is the only korina-made Hamer Vanguard with humbuckers (versus P-90’s) in existence. So, this essentially is a prototype of what would become the Hamer Artist Korina. Comes with the original hard shell case, all of the original case candy and the original shipping box! The guitar weighs 6lbs 12.4oz. The nut width is 1.70”. The neck thickness is .850” at the 1st fret and .945” at the 12th fret .
