1980’s Yamaha Pre-Recording 9000DA Tour Series

Perfect set for home/studio/live use, tonality is unmatched to any modern drums I’ve heard with price tag under $1500. The 2 Large toms and floor tom with a slightly bright shell resonance allow for a wide range of beautiful tones. Rock, Blues, Jazz, RnB, this kit can handle it all.
-Birch wood shells laminated with Philippine Mahogany, 5piece shell pack with tama snare (5 total drums)
-14” Rack Tom
-15” Rack Tom
-16” floor tom
-22”x16” kick
-14” Tama Snare
-Brand new Yamaha tom mounting hardware
-Toms are in good shape with moderate scratches, kick has more significant scratches shown in photos. Does not affect tonality/playability at all.
Made in January of 1980 these drums were the predecessors of the classic 1980’s Yamaha recording series that currently sell for $2-3k a set. See pics above for how Yamaha directly compares this tour series set with the RC series set.
These kits go for around $1k but due to cosmetic condition and need to pay bills asking $550 for the set, won’t last long. Can’t say no to a trade for a nice cymbal pack and double kick though. Thanks for looking.
