Vintage Gear America is pleased to offer this extremely nice example of an all original 1970 Martin D-28 serial number 260067 dreadnaught steel string flat top guitar in beautiful near mint all original condition with original owner’s manual, store hangtag with original price and blue Samsonite hard-shell case also pristine. Once in a lifetime instrument, sounds and plays as good as it looks. Great action, straight neck, frets display 0 wear back of neck is untouched. Spectacular looking early Indian rosewood model just missed Brazilian back and sides, gorgeous matched Indian with fantastic grain pattern. Near mint looks like new, glossy lacquer finish with super flat spruce top original ebony bridge is completely down and shows no signs of lifting or fatigue. Sounds crisp and bright plenty of high end with great bandwidth, beautiful midrange and bass response. Highly recommend this instrument, this is the kind of guitar that the price stops being an issue almost immediately when you hold and play it for the first time. Comes with original owner’s manual, hang price tag and original blue Samsonite style hard shell case.
