The Onkyo CP-1050, released in Japan in 2015, is a high quality direct-drive turntable. Building on Onkyo's legacy of great audio equipment, this Onkyo CP-1050 is a fantastic modern product. It features a brushless DC motor with rotation feedback control via quartz phase lock circuits. Vibrations are suppressed the plinth design and construction as well as the tonearm design. It features impressive technical specs, such as wow and flutter of <0.15% (WRMS). The stock Audio-Technica cartridge sounds excellent, but many critics have noted that this turntable sounds exceptional with a simple upgrade to a high-end cartridge. Overall,the CP-1050 is an excellent choice for a high-quality turntable at a great price!
