About This Listing

All-original and in wonderful playing condition, this Shade Top burst 0-28T (tenor) is possibly the only one of its kind in existence today.

Of only 45 total units made, this is the first example we've ever seen in any finish other than natural. Conducive with other first-era shade top's, the burst is oversprayed across the herringbone while the binding remains unfinished.

Its expected neck reset has already been addressed sometime prior to our acquisition, as well as a handful of side cracks that have been closed and glued.

  • Brazilian Rosewood back, sides, and head cap
  • Ebony fingerboard and bridge
  • Spruce top
  • Hardshell case of unknown origin
