1973 Left-handed Travis Bean TB-1000 ARTIST

Serial # 367
This is the first lefty Travis Bean ever made! One of only three left-handed TB-1000 Artists ever made and the only one to feature such a fancy fingerboard inlay.
Solid symmetric double cutaway body with a two piece figured carved koa top.
Thru-body aluminium neck construction with “T” bar headstock.
Two Travis Bean embossed metal-covered humbuckers.
Four (Gibson-style) speed knobs and three-way switch.
Rosewood fingerboard with elaborate custom-made vine and stars abalone inlay (inlay work by David Sleeter – took him six months to do!).
Grover tuners and aluminium Pickguard.
This guitar belonged to, and was custom-made for Bobby Banse, who was an employee of Travis Bean at the time.

A real collector’s guitar.

Comes with original black tolex case.
