Yamaha MIJ FG-230 12-String Solid Spruce/Mahogany Dreadnought Acoustic 1968

A beautifully ambered solid spruce top, the lush, warm response of bound solid mahogany back and sides, and the instantly familiar in-hand feel of a lovingly played-in rosewood fingerboard makes this increasingly sought-after 1968 Made in Japan Yamaha FG-230 12-String dreadnought an easy choice as a studio standby, or worry-free touring instrument— at a notoriously doable price point. From its iconic "teardrop" pickguard to some seriously vibey road wear, this vintage FG-230 12-String has plenty of stories left to tell. 

Notes:
This 1968 Yamaha MIJ FG-230 12-String is in Good condition, with plenty of light visible surface wear (pictured) consistent with age and appropriate use over 53 years. Pickguard is stable, but lower-half is lifting visibly, and should be professionally re-glued at some point (pictured). Truss rod is functional, but action is medium/high above 7th fret, a common issue with this era of FG-230 production. Minor fret buzz on B string from 1st-5th fret. Non-original, era-correct high E tuner head (pictured). Does not include case.
