According to Hamer just 13 of these beautiful Grand Ole Opry 80th Anniversary Limited Edition Monaco III's were made to commemorate this rather auspicious occasion. I personally own & play a Monaco III and LOVE it. Hamer's Conn. shop's build quality is legendary and this Shiraz Red beauty is a fine example of their brilliance. These are quite special & "rare" and they sound great. Just check these impressive specs:

body length = 40 inches Lower bout width = 13.8 inches upper bout = 10 inches rim depth = 1 7/8 inches

Weight = 8 pounds 9 ounces

JUST Plek'd in our shop. Plays amazing! (rather low action, .010 - .046 Strings. Amazing action, zero buzz. Plektastic!!

22 medium jumbo frets with plenty of fret remaining

neck = '59 type, medium beefy. 14 inch fingerboard radius

Special headstock inlays. Special fingerboard inlays- Stars with musical note

Triple Seymour Duncan vintage type P-90 pickups with 5 way selector- ala Strat. Chicken Head selector knob

Strap buttons are Dunlop locking type & a strap is included with the strap locking bits installed. Can be switched over to your strap.

Original case in pretty good "sound" condition. There are some scuffs & some torn Tolex but it's all there. Includes Key, Truss rod wrench & Certificate of authenticity signed by the builders.

Condition- It's been played and has a fair amount of nicks- dings & scratches. Please see the photos. It's wasn't abused & looks really nice. I Plek'd it and hand polished the frets, which are in superb condition. This is a wonderful - GREAT instrument that honors the Opry's 80th Anniversary. You'll be proud to own it AND you'll love playing this rare Hamer.
