This violin looks and sounds wonderful; let me know if you'd like a demonstration video. The label reads "Jacobus Stainer in Ablam prope Oenipontum 1735" (likely a copy of an earlier model). The pegs were recently refitted to turn more smoothly, and the chinrest was custom cut. The instrument shows superficial wear and tear, a sign of good use and lively playing.
