Today we're pleased to introduce to you a 1974 Vintage Japan SG Custom clone (the correct model is SG-480R) built by famous Kasuga factory (they were producing Kasuga, Heerby, and Ganson branded upper-medium quality lawsuit era guitars) with a top grade finish, excellent performing vintage tuners, saddles and responsive and fully functional electronics. Of course, I have to say a special word about its gorgeous LP Custom headstock the Ganson guitars are mostly known and loved for!
The guitar's body is made of mahogany wood. Slim neck is made of mahogany with bound rosewood fingerboard. I really love the bolt-on construction (I've seen it earlier on Greco and Aria Pro II guitars of the same age) which is perfectly "simulating" set neck joints, so it's absolutely comfortable to play right to the last fret. The guitar is all-original except for the pickups taken from Japanese Edwards SG guitar (magnets are slightly off center, but literally it affects nothing) and in great overall condition, having only a couple of chips and dents here and there. The guitar sounds like the most vintage SG's are supposed to – thick and punchy sound; frets still have most of its life.
