If you're in the market for a classic bass guitar without breaking the bank, this is it! Why pay the same price OR MORE for a new, lesser quality, terribly boring bass? Get something with a little history behind it!

This circa 1989 BC RICH VIRGIN PLATINUM SERIES BASS is in very good shape, all things considered. These old Virgin basses are rare and don't come up very often. It appears they only made a small batch of them and were soon discontinued. It is one of the coolest looking BC Rich basses i've seen.

Frets are in very good shape. Bass plays well. No major issues. Medium/low comfortable action. It has new strings on it. There is only a little minor fret buzz here and there but nothing terrible. This bass is still in very good condition. It's ready to hit the stage.

Electronics have been tested and work. No issues with scratchy pots, noises, etc. The output jack is not completely flush with the body, but that's just the way it left the factory. Again, it appears that only a very few of these were made in the original 1980's era.

Structurally, the bass is solid as a rock. No headstock repairs etc.

The rosewood fretboard could use an oiling, but it's still in good condition.

There are of course, little scratches and dings here and there on this guitar, but nothing ugly. Just the little stuff that adds character and charm.

This bass sounds amazing, plays nice, and looks great.

Many sellers don't even mention this stuff, but I like to. Please see all of the pictures. I've done my best to capture all the little details and describe this guitar as accurately as possible.

Bottom line: If you're looking for a cool bass, without breaking the bank, this one's for you. This bass is in very good condition for its age. These basses haven't been in production for many years. They're getting harder to find each year. Grab it before somebody else does!

This classic bass guitar will make a fine addition to any collection.
