Wildwoodians, we are proud to present another treasure form the Fender Custom Shop's 2019 Collection: the Vintage Custom 1962 Stratocaster. First things first: look at that finish! The NOS 3-Tone Sunburst flash-coat lacquer finish really makes the grain of the alder body pop. With nickel hardware and a tinted riftsawn maple neck, this guitar looks positively regal!

This '62 NOS Strat is stuffed to brim with sounds fit for a king, too. Three '62/'63 single-coils put out all sorts of fantastic vintage Fender tone.

Also, this guitar is a joy to play because of several crucial ergonomic appointments. Fender's '63 "C" shape is a perpetual favorite of ours because it suits a wide variety of play styles. Beyond that, the fretboard's 7.25"-9.5" compound radius allows for effortless chording low on the neck and easy bending up high. Finally, medium vintage frets allow you to feel the maple beneath your hand so you can play as expressively as you desire.
