About This Listing

1965 Fender Telecaster with Lake Placid Blue finish. Rare maple cap fretboard. Wonderful sounding instrument - perfect for range of music - particularly rock, blues, country.

Photos show reasonable amount of play wear on the body, and the LPB finish is nicely greened, but retains its original color.

Only modification to the guitar is that the switch was redone at some point in the last 55 years to allow a blending of the bridge and neck pickups - so this is effectively a 3 way switch, and I understand this was a somewhat common modification. Fantastic addition to any collection and also wonderful to play.
