About This Listing

Price firm, no offers

I'm not a store and do not accept returns or partial refund so make sure this is what you want.
Read the full description there's a reason why this is less expensive than the others listed.
This is a great playing and sounding guitar and was one of my personal players for quite a while, but I'm trying to get rid of almost everything and just keep a few.
This was set up professionally so it has low action and perfect intonation unlike most guitars here needing as much as $100 instead of work. I have never bought a guitar online which did not to be set up correctly.
This weighs about 9 lb and has a slim neck profile.
As a player this is fine, everything functions as it should, low action and good intonation this was set up recently.
There are several issues to be aware of. First of all there was a headstock repair. Done very well and you can't feel it and it's very sturdy but it was done and it is noticeable from the back as you can see.
Second issue is the pickups were replaced with Seymour Duncans. I don't know what model but they are noisy so they're true single coil.
Electronics are mostly original although not the cleanest I've seen but function 100%.
Tuning pegs are newer Gibson.
See the condition in the picture, it has some belt buckle rash on the back, but otherwise finish looks good.
The frets are fretless wonders so they're very low, it plays fine with no issues, but if you played it a lot and put divots in them you would have to refret it.
The case is an older Gibson case, not sure if it's from the exact same era but it fits well.
The serial number font looks strange, I searched high and low and only found one other 1976 Gibson L6-S with the exact same. I've beem dealing with Gibson guitars for over 30 years so I've seen many different things. The options are : number one it's an original transition from the sticker to the stamp, which I was told by the person I got it from, or the sticker serial number was removed with the headstock break, I don't have a blacklight so I can't tell if it's been over sprayed or not but it looks like a very good finish job if it was.
