A Japanese “Golden Era” amp with wonderful sound and durability!

The Sony TA-F333ESR, released in Japan in 1988 during the Japanese “Golden Era” of audiophile equipment, is a sleek, high-performance amplifier. Although the face of this amp appears straightforward, the circuits is advanced, featuring Sony's Spontaneous Twin Drive power system as well as the Super Legato Linear system, which reduces switching and crossover distortion. Further, the tone circuit does not employ a tone amplifier, instead relying on strictly passive elements and circuit simplicity, which preserves the purity of the tone of the source With the Gibralter Chassis system, vibrations and resonances are significantly reduced. By virtue of its high build quality and outstanding sound, the TA-F333ESX is a very well-regarded unit among audiophiles.

This unit is in very good condition, with some expected aging, including some scratches, scuffs and chips (please see photos). This amplifier has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, who has confirmed its integrity and working condition.
