This is one of a limited number of 1964 Sheraton II reissues done from 2000-2005. It is rumored that these were made from the same batch that ended up being the John Lee Hooker Sheratons made over the same time span. Specs are essentially the same with all initial woodwork being done in the Terada factory in Japan before being shipped to Gibson USA for assembly and a nitro finish.
Weight is 8lb 13oz. Neck thickness is 0.82" at the 1st and 0.96" at the 12th.
Condition is very good. Beyond the typical polish marks there are very few things of note. The lower horn has a small impression (worm?) about 1/2" long but it's so shallow I couldn't get it to show in photos. It does not break the finish. There's no worming on the back. The biggest issue was that the neck pickup was installed a little askew at the factory which didn't leave room for the pickguard to be installed flush to the neck. There are marks in the wood near each screw hole, presumably marking the "correct" locations. Nothing is visible without removing the guard and neck pickup ring.
Guitar will ship in Epiphone hard shell case.
