The AEG, a compact body electric acoustic guitar with a slim neck, has been appreciated for its easy playability for more than two decades. The AEG62 starts with the Ibanez AEQ-TTS preamp. The small and simple preamp has only two control knobs — volume and shape. This at-a-glance tone control offers natural acoustic sound in the center position. It allows players to adjust the tone easily, enables them to create sounds from low, fat and powerful to bright and crispy with the turn of one knob. Its easy-to-read onboard tuner with LCD is located on the preamp. The AEG62 comes with a simplified rosette, binding and ornamental design on headstock. Other features include a sapele top, back and sides, and the Ibanez T-bar II undersaddle pickup which equalizes the volume from each string and delivers a well-balanced signal.
