Item Description

The Victor QL-A70, released only in Japan in 1983 during the "Golden Era" of Japanese audiophile equipment, is a wonderful direct drive Japanese turntable. Although the QL-A70 is not as well known outside Japan, the turntable has some impressive stats, including an SNR of 80dB (DIN-B) and wow and flutter of <0.005% (Rotating Part FG method) or <0.018% (WRMS). The QL-A70 features a gorgeous oversized platter and a double servo quartz circuit to control the motor, for ultra-stable platter rotation. Additionally, this turntable has as a handsome vintage design.

This turntable is in very good condition, with some expected signs of aging, including a few minor scratches and coloration (please see photos). Dustcover has some scuffs and coloration (please read dustcover policy). Overall cosmetically looks gorgeous! This turntable has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation. The 33 and 45 settings both work perfectly, and the platter rotation is like clockwork, as expected from Japanese products of this era, which were built for a lifetime of operation. Headshell and cartridge is not included.
