About This Listing

The Tucker HDT-28 is really a phenomenal instrument. Though Melvin Tucker was more well known for his mandolin building, there are a few examples of his guitars floating around out there. This particular guitar features a spruce top on east indian rosewood back and sides, with scalloped forward shifted braces. The herringbone trim with the more "42" style inlay on the neck is a unique and tasteful touch, along with a speckled tortoise style guard, and a beautiful honey burst sunburst to boot. This is truly a unique instrument and it's definitely a head turner!
