In the shop we have a previously owned Peavey Patriot!
This bass, like the other Peavey USA basses, is a hidden gem. Sporting an alder body, 2-piece maple bolt on neck, and the Peavey Super Ferrite single coil, this bass carries the thunder of punchy P-bass without the weight, coming in at 8.85lbs. Though a natural finish was originally offered, we're inclined to say this is a re-finish. Originally the input jack portion of the pickguard had been broken off and the pots and input jack were crusted. We replaced these electronics and fastened an input jack to a new guard piece. The bass was missing the clear knobs so we gave the bass a matching pair. This bass was well-owned before, and has several small dings to the body and neck, none of which effect playability. Overall, this bass was taken for granted and now that we've breathed some life into its electronics and given it a proper set up, its ready to be a main ax or a solid studio player!
