Very rare Left Handed 1978 Fender Fretless Precision Bass with super rare rosewood fretboard. Bass is all original except for the knobs, a boutique pickup of unknown origin (fiber bobbins, enamel wire, pushback cloth, chamfered alnico poles, 10.8k), the nut, and the controls are from a '77. Excellent shape and includes original case and chrome covers. The headstock has been re- sprayed with lacquer due to a psychedelic 70's paint job that the previous owner removed. Damn 70's.  So probably not collector grade but very nice. Original decal/logo intact. Pickguard sticker matches the headstock. It was barely attached so I placed it aside and will be included. Plexiglass piece is a non intrusive thumb ramp and can be included or not.

This is a special bass that plays and sounds absolutely amazing. Someone could probably make a career on this bass. It's that good. Again, probably not collector grade but the best lefty rosewood fretless player you will see. And drumroll... it only weighs a svelte 9.4lbs! Very very good for a 70's ash P bass. This is the total package. Don't sleep on this.

Hurry before I come to my senses and keep this irreplaceable bass. I'm thinning down my collection to pay bills and this one hurts.
