Fender Baja Tele, 60th Ann. Custom Shop Designed, Unplayed w/ Case

A flawless all original Fender Baja Telecaster, 60th Anniversary edition, Custom Shop Designed Telecaster with a non-OEM HSC case. I bought this new at the Austin, TX G-C and kept it in my closet (smoke-free, no pets) all these years. It was played for approximately one hour in that time and still has the protective plastic on the pickguard. There are no marks or imperfections. New strings and a basic setup were done by a luthier in getting it ready for sale. This is NOT a second, B stock or refurbished guitar. The 60th Anniversary medallion is rare on these models and adds to its uniqueness and value.

The Classic Player Baja Telecaster sports a Twisted Tele neck pickup and a Broadcaster bridge pickup. In addition, it’s wired with a special 4-position blade switch and a 2-position S-1 switch. This configuration gives you tonal options ranging from classic Telecaster to series and parallel out-of-phase tones, along with special fat tones and high-output settings.

S-1 Switch Up:
Position 1: bridge pickup
Position 2: bridge and neck pickups (in parallel)
Position 3: neck pickup (standard Tele)
Position 4: neck and bridge pickups (in series) (fatter tone than Position 2 and more output than Position 1, 2, or 3)

S-1 Switch Down:
Position 1: bridge pickup
Position 2: bridge and neck pickups (in parallel) out of phase
Position 3: neck pickup (standard Tele)
Position 4: neck and bridge pickups (in series) out of phase
